We fund initiatives in the Primrose centre to improve patient care & outcomes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are Kate Lansdell, Fiona Harvey, Mel Leal, Jane Longworth and Lucinda Brook.

In September 2022 we plan to take on an epic Scilly swim challenge. We will swim 15km, over two days, around the Isles of Scilly, just
off the coast of Cornwall in aid of The Primrose Foundation.

We have decided to fundraise for The Primrose Foundation as they are a charity close to all our hearts for various reasons – everyone knows someone affected by cancer and this is our way of giving back to a local charity that supports the breast service at The Primrose Centre, Derriford Hospital.

Kate Lansdell is also the Lead Nurse at The Primrose Centre and knows first-hand what a difference the support of The Primrose Foundation has made to people going through the service.

By undertaking this fundraising challenge we hope to raise much-needed funds to continue to support and improve the quality of care all patients receive whilst under the care of The Primrose Breast Care centre.

We really appreciate your support.

Thank you
