Story

I graduated with an MA in International Journalism last year and have had no luck finding work since. So, what better way to gain international journalism experience than to cycle from Cairo, Egypt, 8000 miles across the continent making the World Cup in less than 150 days. All planned and departed within 3 weeks.....most people plan trips like this in a year.

I will be raising money for Schistosomiasis Control Initiative http://www.sci-ntds.org/

SCI is a charitable institution based at Imperial College. They're fighting for a world free of Neglected Tropical Diseases. SCI help distribute the necessary drugs needed to prevent the infection of NTDs. They've already  successfully been running in Mali, Niger, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Burkina Faso.

500 million people throughout sub-Saharan Africa suffer from NTDs, but a solution is within reach. For 25pence/50 cents, an individual can receive treatment for all seven of the most common NTDs for an entire year.

Please donate whatever you can.......think how sore my bottom will be!
