Story
Im taking part in the Race to the Base in support of my local air ambulance service. The Great North Air Ambulance Service provides world-class, critical care across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care team delivers life-saving treatments at the scene of an incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to over 1,200 emergency call-outs last year*, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.*2020
I am joining Team Lee to run 32 miles during March. 32 miles is the distance between the Teeside base and RVI Hospital in Newcastle.
Any donations are greatly appreciated
