We support RNOH's vital work to provide key services and facilities

Story

Hi all,

After spending a lot of time around radiation and strong magnets, a few brave souls from the scanning department have decided to compete in a 6 km Dirty Dash race! We'll be tackling obstacles of barbed wire, burning pits and very high walls - all to raise money for the RNOH charity appeal.

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) is a world-leading specialist Orthopaedic hospital, which has has been providing life-saving and life-enabling care for over a century. Although it uses cutting edge procedures based on the latest research, the equipment itself, and the buildings which house it are in a state of disrepair. Thankfully, funding has been secured to build a new orthopaedic NHS hospital, but that is just for the building itself.

It is hoped will be fully operational by 2018, and to make this happen, the RNOH charity appeal is aiming to raise £15 million.

Your support could help to fund:

  • A new children's unit with a recreation area and play equipment
  • An independent living unit for people with life changing injuries
  • The development of a new Spinal Cord Injury Centre
  • New medical imaging equipment such as CT and MRI scanners
Plus much more!

We are so grateful for your support, and any contribution you're able to make to this amazing cause. We need all the encouragement we can get!
