Insurance United Against Dementia - Step Up for Dementia, raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Story

The past few months have been tough for everyone, but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives. So that's why I'm taking on Step Up for Dementia alongside my colleagues across the insurance industry to walk 10,000 steps a day.

As some of you may know my own mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia last year.  I am walking for her and to hopefully get fit & loose some "corona weight" in the process, after being inspired by my dad.

Please donate to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most. Far too many people, for far too long, have had no option but to face dementia alone. Just £95 supports the funding of a telephone-based Dementia Adviser for one day. Dementia Advisers are experts at providing information, offering guidance and directly supporting people affected by dementia and can act as a lifeline.

All donations are greatly appreciated and as an added bonus if you are one of my WTW colleagues, WTW will match all monies that we manage to raise, but matching can only be obtained if we know who has donated the money - if you would prefer to be anonymous but are happy for me to know your very kind donation, please drop me a personal email.

Thank you for helping me make a difference.
