Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Between 1st – 30th June, c.400 CEVA colleagues along with
their friends and families will be taking part in CEVA UKIN’s biggest-ever community
fundraising initiative – #theCEVA100. Each person participating will be
required to complete 100km through any chosen fitness activity they wish during
the month of June.
As part of this challenge, I am raising money for Level Water
This charity is very close to my heart because I love open water swimming and hope more people can be given opportunities to swim.
With so many people taking part, we want to achieve
something remarkable as ONE team.
The longest walkable distance in the world, is from Cape
Town in South Africa to Magadan on Russia's eastern coast. The distance
stretches 14,334 miles (23,068 kilometers). No human has ever taken such a long
walk! We are proposing to do this TWICE!
Our #theCEVA100 team is attempting to cover a massive
45,000km in just 30 days (or 720 hours) and we need every one to play their
part, no matter how big or small.
Please ensure you select the ‘Gift Aid’ option so that the
charity can benefit by 25% from your donation.
If you would like to support us whilst we embark on this
fantastic adventure, please donate today. Your donation is very much
appreciated!
I'm taking on the incredible 24hr Swim Relay at Trifarm to raise money for Level Water. The first splash. Holding your breath. The echoes of laughter. The wet hair. Lifted spirits. The joy of gliding through water. The smile that lasts all day. Swimming is like nothing else. Level Water use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
