Story

I'm doing it again.  Vaccine round 2 is this weekend, and for about £240 more I'll dig the frock out again.  £2100 is the target, or £2500 with gift aid.

***IT'S HAPPENING!!! V DAY IS 23rd MAY!!!****
***£1,000 RAISED.  THANK YOU AL SO MUCH!!!***

It all started with a conversation in the car.  Since the Covid vaccine rollout began, folk have been dressing up smart to go and get their jag.  Starting with Margaret Keenan in December in her sparkly jumper, to men and women across the world putting on their best going out clothes because it's not as if we have been going out recently.

So as I was out with my wife, I asked what I should wear to my vaccine appointment and she immediately replied with a pink bridesmaid dress.

OK

However I thought I would be smart and let Twitter decide with a poll, with alternative options of A crow costume (corvid/covid), a suit of armour or Tony Stark's Iron man.  Of course, the pink frock won....

So, if you'd like to see photographic proof of me turning up for my vaccine in a pink bridesmaid frock, and hopefully adding a bit of colour to the place, Please chip in. A pic of the frock is in the update below.

I'm collecting for the Scottish Association for Mental Health.  Folk's mental health has taken a beating during lockdown, due to things like isolation and the withdrawal of support services.  It can be be harder for us to do the things that normally help keep us well.  So I'd like to do something to fling a few bob their way.  I'm aiming for £500.

So all I need now is to get the blue envelope with my appointment....

What have I done.... :-)
