Story
I love crisps. All crisps. I eat crisps when I'm happy. I eat crisps when I'm sad. I eat crisps when I travel by planes, trains and automobiles.
I was so desperate for some crisps during lockdown that I found a fairly manky potato in the fridge and learned how to make crisps in the microwave.
I refer to poppadoms as 'big crisps'.
It needs to stop.
Challenge Against Cancer is raising money to make cancer care in Bristol the best it can be, as part of Above & Beyond's #BristolAgainstCancer campaign.
There are 13,000 staff working across UHBW NHS Trust hospitals so the idea is to base a challenge around that number. I'm flipping that 13 into a 31 and giving up crisps for 31 days.
I can only stick to this if you support me by donating.
I know that giving up crisps for 31 days might not seem like much of a challenge. And compared to running 130km in a month or a half marathon, it really isn't.
But, for me, it's going to be a REALLY LONG MONTH.
It starts on the 14 October... because I have a bag of Salt and Black Pepper Combo Mix to finish.
