Story
Hey people!
Please read here first: teamrory.co.uk
Now. What did you think? What if I tell you stories like this happen every day only in the UK? Would you like to stop them? Well, you can't. But you can definitely contribute to turn the odds of future cases by helping these lovely people at CCLG to develop their work towards a better understanding, better treatments and more efficient methods to confront such a terrible and unfair disease.
Hence, I'll be running the London Marathon on the 3rd of October + the Leicester Half Marathon on the 31st of the same month. And you can say "yeah, whatever, you're a fit person, what's the challenge there?" Well, what if I tell you I use to hide M&Ms in my bedside table drawer? Is that the point? Absolutely not. My point is: It takes a big effort to prepare for something like this, all the training, all the sweat, all the cramps and sore legs... but all is worthy if there's the right motivation for it. Team Rory is my motivation and I hope you, supporting it, will be as well. And if for each mile I run I could think about each one of you and the wonderful people you are, then that race will be a piece of cake (mmmm.. cake.. you see what I mean?)
Please get involved, it takes 5 minutes! You'll make us happy, and you'll make you happy for doing a good thing. Do a good thing. Good things make everyone happy, not even M&Ms can do that.
