Sascha is 3 years old and embarking on the biggest walkies of her life. She's sailing up Australia's beautiful East Coast to raise awareness for a rare group of cancers called Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs). It's to help NETs charity The Unicorn Foundation, which was set up by two inspiring people after their sister was diagnosed.
It's a challenging journey. So Sascha's not going alone.
She is captaining a crew of two novices who have quit their jobs to join her.One of the crew's good friends, John 'Seagull' the sailor, is living with NETs. This journey is partly for him and he is teaching the team to sail there safely. Thanks Seagull.
We are sailing from Sydney Harbour to Magnetic Island in Queensland, stopping at hotspots and hidden gems. We will meet incredible people along the way. Some are living out their NETs journey. Others are just simply living in extraordinary ways.
We can't wait to show you their stories. Please share!
