Story

Dear all,

I’m going to participate in this year’s Bucharest International Marathon on Oct 9th as member of Team Hospice. This team is formed by runners that support the Fundatia Hospice “Casa Sperantei” (Hospice of Hope).

This UK-based, non-profit organization is dedicated to establish in Romania medical assistance, social, psycho-emotional and spiritual support for patients with life-threatening diseases and their families. Please see  http://www.hospice.ro/ for details.

A major project now is to set up an urgently needed inpatient hospice in Bucharest. This ambitious project progressed very successfully in 2010 but needs further support. Plan is to start building this year.

With sponsoring my running you support this important project and improve the situation of patients with life-threatening diseases.

I hope you find this initiative as important as I do.

Please sponsor me with any amount you feel adequate.

Thankfully yours,

Sascha
