Hey guys!

I have been granted an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity to make a difference by volunteering with VSO in Cambodia for 10 weeks, departing on the 6th May 2018. 

I will be teaming up with Cambodian volunteers to tackle problems faced in the community of Banan, 30 minutes away from Battambang. Young people from rural Cambodian families often get shoehorned into working as farmers for the rest of their lives, with very poor livelihoods. Our mission is to create sustainable development opportunities in Banan by teaching these young people entrepreneurial skills, as well as teach them about other career paths that are available to them.

Amongst other things, I'll be hosting a dinner party and doing various bake sales (no surprise that my fundraising is mainly food related).
