Story

We had precious time with Sarina watching and listening to her needs. Positive touch, or comfort holding, is a way for parents to communicate their love and reassurance to their baby in the neonatal unit.

We want to buy a new kangaroo care reclining chair for the NNU at St Helier Hospital in Surrey. This important item of furniture lets parents and their babies enjoy special cuddles together, as we did with our beautiful daughter.

About the charity

To achieve impact we operate a shop and tea room raising funds to support patient experience. We support many and varied projects in the hospital and currently focus on giving extra help to Dementia Friendly Wards, and providing guidance to visitors. All our volunteers are unpaid and happy to help.
