Story

Thank you everyone for the kind donations! I’m really overwhelmed by your support. I’ve increased my target to try and raise as much for SAS as I can as we enter this last push toward the swim!

************

We are passionate about the Solent! We want clean water! We want to do something mad and crazy that challenges us and a swim from the mainland to the Isle of Wight is the perfect answer! Surfers Against Sewage does amazing work monitoring the water and campaigning for action. We are a group of 12 strong amateur swimmers who have come together for this amazing challenge. We have channel swimmers right through to recent converts to open water swimmers, all supporting each other.

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a charity set up in 1990 by people sick of seeing the ocean they love polluted. We campaign to protect the ocean and all it makes possible, by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top. We're calling for an end to sewage and plastic pollution.
