After completing The London Marathon 2008 in 4 hours and 9 minutes I swore never again! Yet here I am back for more punishment and physiotherapy bills! ......What can I say, i am weak willed and must secretly love pain!

I am running again for The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity  who are a brilliant local charity that provides amazing support and care work for familes who have a child with a terminal or life threatening illnesses. 

I make no guarantees but am going to try my hardest to finish in under four hours this time.

Update since making my just giving page my nan died aged 91 she was like a mother to me and I miss her so much and think of her every day.

After her death my first emotion was I would not run the marathon this year, but after Mum, Jess and Katie nagging I will be running, not for time (the way I feel at the moment I couldn't run for a bus!!) but for the memory of Christina Deen. She was so proud of my marathon running and told everyone I was running for the sick children.
