St Teresa's Hospice offers people and their families the most amazing care and support in their darkest times. My lovely mum in law Carolyn passed away there in 2018, and most recently on 31st March this year,  my beautiful friend Rachel died there following a very short but aggressive illness. 

Both were incredible women,  inspirational and loved by their families and friends. I'm running to help raise much needed funds so that St Teresa's can continue it's work to enable those facing the end of life to feel (to borrow a phrase from my gorgeous friend) "well within their soul". 

I am part of #TeamRachel, undertaking the Great North Run in order to raise as much money as possible for St Teresa's and trying to #BeMoreRachel
