Story
Hi folks, In Feb this year my 19 year old sister got the news that she had stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
It took me a while to get my head around why she was so calm and then I remembered who my sister is...
She is the nicest, kindest and strongest person you could meet so for me to call her a sister....I've struck gold and cancer ain't getting her!! Cancer hit the wrong person when it went near our Jordan as she is going to kick it where it really hurts and show it who's boss and THAT is why she's been so calm. That and the amazing support from her boyfriend Jamie who I'd be lost without as I know when I'm not around her she has the best support imaginable.
The reason for me doing the 10k is to show her how much she means to most people and to well give her a good old laugh by sending her updates of my training, seeing as the last time I even came close to squatting was going for a wee whilst camping in the boghole of Donegal so this isn't going to be easy.
I know in my heart that she is going to beat this thing but the next 6 months of her treatment is going to be a long difficult journey for her, so please even if its not much can we try to get as much donations in her name or even just a little nod of support towards her, lets give her hope and light when she's in the darkest moments during her treatment.
Thanks to anyone who will donate or wish her luck in advance as this girl means the world to me!
