Story
In November 2008 one of my best friends Robbie Stuart, died of Leukemia aged 28. Robbie was an amazingly kind friend who I met at University and a real character, he was the life and soul of the party. Robbie loved rugby and outrageous fancy dress. Most of Clifton ended up being friends through Robbie and it was always Robbie who got everyone together.
Robbie played rugby for Old Bristolians and was also the mascot for Bristol Rugby Club, he would dress up as Brizzley Bear. His break dancing moves were legendary especially the worm! We all still miss Robbie greatly and he left a massive hole in our lives. I am raising money for CLIC Sargent in memory of Robbie as it is ten years since he died and to make sure that other young people, those most at risk from this cruel and indiscriminate disease, have the best chance of pulling through.
CLIC Sargent can help two thirds of children who are diagnosed with cancer, but wants to go even further and needs our help to do that.
