I'm in recovery from alcohol dependency. One thing that recovery has shown me is that fear is something that can be faced and overcome. Which is why I've  decided to challenge myself to do a tandem skydive - I'm terrified of heights! I'll be jumping from the highest altitude possible without oxygen - 15,000 ft. 

I've chosen to raise money for Humankind because it was their West Yorkshire based drug and alcohol service that got me into detox and recovery and back on track. Essentially the charity have helped to save my life - and I want to give something back to them so that they can continue helping other people affected by drug and/or alcohol addiction.
