We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi we are the Christie family. Jack our oldest son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 10. At the time it tore our world apart, learning to live and cope with the condition and watching your son coping with injecting himself 4 times a day is tough. But we were strong and supported each other. With an incredible diabetes team and support from our friends and family we learnt how to manage diabetes and not let it manage us.

We have decided to do the London Bridge challenge alongside Diabetes UK, which will take us on a ten-mile walk around London crossing 13 iconic bridges.

All money raised will go towards Diabetes UK and the supporting of others living with Diabetes and research into this life affecting condition. Please support us, thank you xxx
