We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I'm walking Shine again this year in support of the thousands of people battling Leukemia and similar strains of cancer.  I'm also walking on behalf of my mum who got the all clear eariler this year. She received excellent treatment both privately and on the NHS and would have been walking with me again had she not already booked a well-deserved holiday!  Please help me to support this worthwhile cause so that people like my mum can get the treatment and advice they so desperately need.

Leukaemia affects around 7,000 people of all ages every year in the UK - that’s around 20 people each day. The number of people surviving leukaemia for five years or more has tripled since the 1970s. That’s amazing progress, but over 4,000 people still lose their lives to the disease every year.

Cancer Research UK is funded entirely by amazing supporters like you. By sponsoring me you can help more people survive leukaemia.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference to Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating leukaemia – so please sponsor me now!

Gift Aid it!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

Together we will beat cancer.
