We support people living with brain injury to give them the best quality of life

Story

Hello!

On the hottest ever marathon and with the highest number of drop-outs i passed the finish line of the London Marathon just before 3pm (4hrs 58 mins to be precise!). After a somewhat painful run (my knees arent made for marathons!) and the best supporters going ('Team Hugh in green all the way) i managed to drink and dance the night away in Covent Garden, celebrating my birthday with my medal firmly round my neck!!

Had the best day and it was made so special by every single one of u who survived the heat and the crowds to help get me round the course, and to those of you with me in spirit every step of the way,  allowed me to acheive something very special indeed.

It was all for Hugh and i really cant thank you enough for your continuing support and of course donations, which currently stands at over £10,500!!

All i can say is I am so grateful to each and everyone of you.

Thank you
xxxxx

In a moment of madness I had this crazy idea  that I'd run the London Marathon!! (i've always said i would do it once in my life and what better birthday present to give myself than by making me run 26.2 miles!!) And I can't think of a better charity to raise money for than the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability where Hugh is staying, and been so brilliantly looked after. The hospital isn't part of the NHS so relys on donations to keep it going and to continue all the fab therapy they provide.

By sponsoring me you are not only showing your support for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability but also your support for Hugh.  So please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

A really BIG thank you to everyone who has donated so far, the response has been brilliant. I am so amazed as to how geneorus everyone has been so £8000 here we come!!

Please pass the link on to as many people as you can think of, the hospital really is a worthy cause (you can use the 'promote this page' button above)...

Lots of Love    Sarah xxx
