Story

On 31 August 2019 we will be walking 26 miles in the south west of England, to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Society.

Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity that campaigns to change public perceptions of dementia, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.

With our population ageing, more and more of us are affected by, or know someone affected by, dementia. For us it’s Josie’s Dad, whose struggle with dementia over the last six years has prompted us to join this fundraising event.

Our combined fundraising target is £1200 but we would love to beat that target by some margin - with your help. So with that in mind, we ask you to give generously with your sponsorship so we can help Alzheimer’s Society help more people affected by this difficult condition.

Thanks very much.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
