You may know that Andy (says Sarah), Dad (says Gemma) had to have treatment for cancer last year.  He has had excellent care and treatment from Bedford and Addenbrookes hospitals, and now just has check ups every three months at Addenbrookes.  His last scan was in February and the results have come back clear.

So, we have decided that it's the right thing to do to try and raise some money for Cancer Research - as a thank you for the care and treatment that Andy/Dad has had.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
