Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page!

I have challenged myself to trek 34km to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. In May 2022 I will be trekking along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, from Corfe Castle to Weymouth.

The main reason I’m doing this is because of my Nan 💛 She suffered with Alzheimer’s for over 10 years and it was extremely tough watching her deteriorate, losing many memories and eventually forgetting my name and who I was.

It was difficult for my family and I, especially my grampa who cared for her all the way through, up until her last few years. That’s why I am supporting Alzheimer’s Society to help find a cure and fund the work they do to support people affected by Alzheimer’s and their families.

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. Someone develops it every 3 minutes and there’s currently no cure!

My fundraising target is £135 but I would love to raise much more!

Thank you xxxxx

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
