Sarah's summer Stars for Cafod, 25 June 2020
This summer, like never before, we are called to be signs of hope for our world. Your action for hope can mean fewer families have to ask: how do I keep my child safe if we dont have water for hand-washing?

Story

I am a volunteer for CAFOD in our wonderful parish, Our Lady Star of the Sea, Mumbles, Swansea and in our local schools. I volunteered alongside my dear friend Sue Philippart, who tragically died in March but continues to be my inspiration. I am passionate about Cafod's work because of it's sustainability. We work in partnership with our local experts, whether priest, midwife or water engineer. They understand what people need as they are part of the community. At this difficult time, as you can imagine, Cafod is struggling to support ongoing essential projects as well as coping with the devastating effects of Covid 19.

Families in developing countries, without enough to eat and without access to clean water and healthcare, are particularly vulnerable to Coronavirus.

We are one global family, please support our poorest and most marginalised communities by sponsoring my SUMMER STARS / SER HAF.

I plan to crochet 100 stars over the summer, to be sold for Cafod as a sign of hope.

Please sponsor me, THANK YOU/ DIOLCH YN FAWR, for helping to make this Summer of Hope.
