We are getting into the Olympic spirit by taking on one of the most challenging events of London 2012 - the Modern Pentathlon. This five-event sport consists of horse-riding, fencing, swimming, running and laser shooting.
We're raising money for Sarah's charity PiggyBankKids, which works hard to give children the best possible chance of living a healthy and happy life, here in the UK. We want to help as many children as we can: from the vulnerable babies whose lives could be saved with the right scientific breakthroughs, to those kids and young people who have the hardest start in life.
2012 marks the charity's tenth birthday, and in that time, we've taken huge steps to change the lives of babies and children for the better. Our flagship project, the Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory, continues to undertake ground-breaking medical research into the causes of pregnancy complications and premature birth.
Training is getting underway and we'll be completing the event in February 2012. Stay tuned for updates of how we're getting on! We'd love it if you could sponsor us for completing what is a rather daunting challenge, and help us raise money for this fantastic cause. So please dig deep and donate now!
