Story

After years of rivalry (and some questionable PB claims), the wait is nearly over to finally find out which Clilverd sister is the fastest...

For Sarah's second time and Alice's first, on the 23rd April we will both be taking part in the London Marathon. Will Alice's (relative) youth give her the edge? Or will Sarah's 'first child' genes prove the key to victory? The tension is mounting!

Thankfully, this sibling battle is all for a good cause. We were lucky enough to get our marathon places through the NSPCC, and are therefore looking forward to raising as much money as possible to support the great work that they do.

The NSPCC help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. A child contacts Childline every 25 seconds, and counsellors are also available 24 hours a day to respond to adults who are worried about the welfare of a child. So the work they do is pretty important.

We are therefore extremely grateful for any sponsorship which will help support the work of the NSPCC, and contribute to us reaching our ambitious target. Every pound will also help to motivate us during all the many (many!) training miles and on the day itself 😊

You can either donate online, or send a text with TOES98 followed by the amount you wish to donate (e.g. TOES98 £5), to 70070.

Thank you!
