On the 24th September I was due to participate in the Big Ride for Africa, raising funds for Street Child, who like many charities are desperately short of funds this year because so many events have been cancelled. 

Unfortunately the Big Ride has been cancelled as a result of Covid-19 and as such I will now be taking part in the Big Ride Virtual Mission which means I can still don some lycra and raise much needed funds. The Virtual Mission runs from 10 - 24 September and as a NTT DATA team we will be trying to cycle as many miles as possible (more than the distance I originally signed up to!) 

Street Child work in 14 countries helping children and families gain access to education and the opportunity to change their lives. They recognise that the barriers to education are complex and interlinked, and their projects focus on a combination of education, child protection and livelihood support to address the social, economic and structural issues that underpin today’s education crisis.
