I am so chuffed - 30% of the way there and 16 days to go!!! Thanks guys- it means so much!xxxx
In December 2010 I was diagnosied with type 1 diabetes. There is no history in my family, I actually didnt know what it really was.. they must have made a mistake.Excuse my ignorance but I thought that is was a condition people ate themsleves into...sorry if this offends but I need to be trueful and I can assure you this opinion changed!
So had they made a mistake??
Nope - they hadn't! Before I knew it I was attackhd to a drip of insulin and there I laid for 5 days. Leanring how to inject - I thought would be the hardest part of my diagnosis, and that was hard enough. Especially for a needle-phobic.. I really had picked the right condition!! But it actually wasn't the physical side effects and consequences where in fact easier to cope with.
Things do get better and there is light at the end of the tunnel - I bet that made your toes curl if your in the same position as me - people have no clue what that means when you have no idea what light is, let along finding it at he end of this poxy tunnel!
Help me raise money to support youngest in my position!
