I restarted running again towards the end of my PGCE as Marianna fancied giving it a go. Since qualifying as teachers we have run over 150 parkruns between us, a few 10ks, 10 miles and half marathons too. I got the marathon bug but had failed to persuade Marianna to join me until she got into London 2019 on the ballot! 

There was no way I was going to let her run her first marathon alone and I am delighted to have a St John Ambulance charity place.

As you will see in the updates I decided to link this to my 100 marathon target by making London my 25th marathon.
