We offer care, support and information to anyone affected by breast cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and Breast Cancer Care have been an amazing support throughout.

Through every stage of the treatment and beyond they provide well researched, comprehensive information which helps you understand, process and make decisions about your illness. They also have breast cancer nurses at the end of the phone or email who will answer any of your questions - of which I had many!

My family, friends and colleagues were incredible while I was having treatment, I couldn't have managed without them, but you can feel still like you want to talk to someone who's been through it too and that's where Breast Cancer Care come in. They have on-line forums and live chats; they offer peer support where you can talk to someone who's been through the same as you; they run courses about everything from fatigue and diet to moving on after the treatment has finished and they stage all sorts of events, from fashion shows to underwear evenings. Their work helps you feel you are not alone.

I'm really keen to support them as much as they've supported me, so your donation however large or small is hugely appreciated.

Sarah

Devasted doesn't really cover how upset we were when Sarah was diagnosed last year but in her usual amazing way she got through months of gruelling treatment and is doing brilliantly.

We have seen first hand how much support Breast Cancer Care has helped and supported our gorgeous friend. We wanted to do something to show our thanks to them for helping in ways we weren't able to. They truly are a great orgaisation and help alot of people at a really scary time. Anything you can give would be really really appreciated.
