Once again I am here asking for donations for what I believe to be a worthy charity, The Christie. The Christie researches and treats cancer patients and through their research hope to find a cure for cancer.

Having received treatment from The Christie I wanted to give something back and the Great North Swim was the perfect opportunity for me to do so.

Unfortunately the swim was cancelled last year and we did not get to participate, needless to say I jumped at the chance to swim this year for my chosen charity. So if you can spare a bit of change please do donate. If you did donate last year though please don't donate again - your kindness went straight to The Christie but I wouldn't feel right with the thought of you donating again (unless you really wanted too of course).
