As I am sure you are aware, I have been working as a doctor at Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull for several years.

Through my work there, I realise how desperate they are for new facilities to care for people with dignity and compassion at the end of their lives. 

For over 45 years the existing hospice has provided first-class care to terminally ill patients and their families. Unfortunately the 100 year old building is reaching the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.

£7 million needs to be raised to enable the new hospice to open in 2013.

The new facility will be a centre of excellence for the region.
