I lost my dad in July 2014 , my dad was my best friend losing him has left a massive hole in my life . I started running to clear my head and deal with the grief of losing him and then I signed up to run the Derby 10k . I lost my dad through a brain haemorrhage if he`d survived we were told he would of been brain damaged and we would of turned to Headway for help and support . I`d like to take the most devastating time of my life and turn it into something good that will help others and what better way to honour my amazing dad Paul Hurt than helping people that have suffered Brain injury in his name.
