As many of you know my Daughter Nicole is totally blind, her independence has been massively impacted recently by the loss of her beloved guide dog and companion, Misty .

There is currently a two year waiting list for to have the opportunity for the freedom and independence that most of us take for granted simply because of lack of funding

Blindness is the most isolating disability I have ever encountered. Misty, was friend, companion and third party link to the sighted world for Nicole and thousands like her. People don’t approach a blind person to chat but they do, always stop to ask about the dog, which introduces contact with those sighted around you. The blind person may not speak to another 

We would be overjoyed if we could help raise funds for guide dogs to support them, to help many o et come some of the isolation and lack of independence 

Anyone who knows me knows …. I don’t run 😂😂😂 so it’s worth it for that alone
