In memory of Emily Smith
We support Addenbrooke's and the Rosie to change patients' lives.

Story

Our beautiful 8 year old daughter Emily was diagnosed with a brain tumour ‘Diffuse midline glioma H3 K27M alteration’ at Addenbrookes Hospital in the summer holidays 2022. She battled for 12 days before sadly passing away on 8th August.  Surgery was attempted to relieve the pressure and remove some of the tumour but it was incurable and fast growing. Emily remained positive and determined throughout her time in hospital and was cared for so compassionately by all the staff we met at Addenbrookes. We are raising money in her memory for Addenbrookes Charitable Trust to help support all parts of the care Emily received, from research into paediatric brain tumours through to bereavement support for her brother and family who she leaves behind. Rest in peace little Ems xxx
