After missing out on taking part in the Great North Run last year (with a long spell of injuries setting me back in my running journey!), I have been lucky enough to have been offered a place in this year's Great North Run through my company; GSK. I am nervous, but looking forward to taking on the half marathon distance and aim to be able to run the whole distance by the time of the event in September without stopping!

As representatives from GSK, we will be raising money for Save the Children - the partnership with which the company is associated, so I would be really grateful for any donations which you would be willing to make to help me reach my £350 target, every penny helps! Thank you!
