Story
My name is Sarah Seatter and i just turned 10 in January this year and I live in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands
I have been growing my hair long so I can donate it to this most wonderful cause and I hope to raise money to help them with their fantastic cause. I would like to raise £550 as that is how much it costs for a wig. I have always had long hair and i play Octopush which is underwater hockey, with my hair being long it takes a very long time to dry, so i said to my mum about cutting it a bit shorter to help with the drying time and she said well why don't we donate it. We looked into it on the Little Princess Trust website and i thought i could do more than just donate it. I could help raise money to put towards the wigs too. We ordered my fund raising kit it only took 4 days to come, when it arrived it gives you lots of ideas for things to do as well as having a sponsor form, balloons, posters, wristbands, badge, window sticker and money box. Mum suggested walking as it would get us all out in the holidays in the fresh air and we could see lots of things as we go and try some walks in Orkney that we haven't done yet ,Mum ordered me a little princess trust t-shirt and water bottle so i can wear and use when i'm out walking. My Mum Heather, sister Emma age 8 ,Brother James age 3 1/2 and My Dad Chris have been out walking with me and lots of other family and Friends have come too.
I am Booked in to get my hair cut on Friday the 13th of August, i need to think of what kind of style i want and mum has said once its done i can have some bits of blue dye in it.
