Oh my god I am going to walk the Great Wall Of China..!! Now that’s something I didn’t think I would hear myself say!!!!

I'm travelling to China on the 15th October to walk the Great Wall of China in aid of an amazing Charity; The Christie.

 

As many of you know my wonderful Dad was diagnosed with bowel Cancer in November 2009, after his operation followed 6 months of Chemotherapy at The Christie and I am delighted to say that he is 100% well and it hasn’t come back!!

 

This is obviously my personal drive for doing this enormous task that lye’s ahead of me but the thought of those patients that haven’t been as lucky as my Dad or are fighting everyday will motivate me to get up and do it, even when I feel like my feet will drop off!!!

 

It upsets me to say that when my Dad was diagnosed everyone that I told knew someone who they had lost to Cancer or was fighting it.

 

I realise that the money that I will raise will only help a tiny little bit however it really is better than nothing and I am proud of what I have already achieved, I hope you are.
