My beautiful cousin Evie sadly went to rainbow land April 2019, 3 years after discovering she had a brain tumour. During her 3 years she had many stays on a teenage cancer trust ward where she had a chance to make friends in a world that became her new normal, sadly not all of those friends are here today either. I decided to apply to run the marathon on a complete whim I saw a post and applied I had never ran before but was up for the challenge! During Evie’s operation to remove what they could from the brain tumour it left her paralysed down one side of her body but she was unstoppable in physio even going through chemo if evie could do that I can do this! 

Training was going well until March 2020 when the world went crazy and all my hard work was for nothing! It threw me and I’ve struggled since then with running and my love of it I once had. 

I raised over £1600 of my £2000 target on my virgin money just giving page but unfortunately they have decided to stop so I’ve moved across to here. Sad I can’t see that total on here but I’m hoping over the course of the next 11 months that amount will rise further to go to an amazing place!
