My big sister Emma used to run the 10k, so I do this now in her memory. Emma ran in aid of the Stroke Association, as this is something our family has had to deal with, but I am sure she would understand that this year I’m going to run for the Christie, as they will be helping our extended family, the lovely Murrays. 

This year, me and Billy are running the 10k not only to raise as much as we can for the Christie but also to support our good friend Nic who will be starting chemo at Christie’s to fight the bowel cancer that has dealt a huge blow to this gorgeous family. We will be running to show our love and support, and, although not natural athletes, we are going to give it our best shot. 

Please spare whatever you can so that we can raise as much money as possible to help fund the care and support that’s given to the patients and families who suffer from this terrible disease.
