Story
My Mummy was amazing.
Mummy first heard she had 'a small tumour' when I was pregnant with Freddie, my youngest son, who was 4 in November. It was such a shock.
Mummy did everything she could to stay with us, including countless chemo and radiotherapy sessions at St Lukes in Guildford and having a whole lung removed at the Royal Brompton in July 2010. In the end she was taken in a flash on 13th October 2011, one day after finding out that the cancer had returned to her only good lung.
I was with her when she passed away and life changed forever.
I miss her terribly, but wanted to do something positive to say 'thank-you' for the help and support Macmillan gave during my Mum's 4 year battle with cancer.
Mummy was and is a shining example to us all to make the most of every day, to love one another, forgive and never forget how truly blessed we are.
I will always miss my Mummy, but am so grateful for all the memories we shared. She lives on in my 3 beautiful children and we will never forget her.
