Story
Hi everyone, thank you for reading our story! As a team we are walking Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2023 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, as a thank you for the support they have given to Jamie over the last 3 years. In 2020 Jamie was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the young age of 35. Since then he has undergone various cancer treatments including radiotherapy, chemotherapy and two major operations. Jamie continues to fight his ongoing battle with cancer and is still undergoing treatment. Through this tough journey, Macmillan nurses and services have helped and supported Jamie, Sarah and their boys Lewis and Adam. Without the support of this amazing charity the last 3 years would have been more difficult than they already have been. Unfortunately, without fundraisers like this Macmillan wouldn't be able to provide the support and invaluable service they currently do. Sadly if you personally haven't needed the help of Macmillan, you will definitely know someone who has. We would love your support to raise as much as possible for this amazing cause. We are braving the kiltwalk for Jamie, Macmillan and every single person suffering this cruel disease. We would appreciate any donation big or small - every penny counts!
