We were blindsided to learn that our daughter had end stage liver disease and needed a transplant. Life on the list is tough but luckily we did not wait long and she recently received the transplant that she needed.  As a patient on the Rays of Sunshine ward she has received life saving treatment and excellent care from the staff there that work so hard. We are so grateful to have access to world leading health care professionals and we want to contribute to the Transforming Liver Care Charity to continue to improve outcomes for patients.

And of course we are eternally grateful to the donor family who in their darkest moment gave us the gift of life.
