Almost 4 years ago I joined a couch to 5K program wanting to be fit for 30. Those years have passed and numerous medals have been collected but my passion and enjoyment for running has just has continued with that one piece of bling out to get!

I love how running has changed me as person and most importantly in the best possible way, the people its allowed me to meet, the encouragement I've been able to give others, the freedom and head space. Wow all the cake it has allowed me to eat!. The list is endless. Running is now a part of me. 

During my hammer toe op last year i sat housebound and applied for the ballot i knew then that was a lifetime goal something i could only dream of, then the talking about it and thoughts got real....it really was something i could do. Hard work but i'm not afraid of that. I wanted it, i'll work for it. So here i am only this time taking no chances i do not need to wait for the ballot lotto because i have been fortunate enough to  secure a place with the AGEUK! team!

I will be training hard and promise to do my absolute very best raising money for a fantastic worthy charity and hope you are able to help me achieve my target by donating all you can. Anything given will be greatly received.
