Story
Hi Everyone
Some of you know that I have been training hard for this event for many months, running at 5 in the morning and cycling for hours on the weekends, swimming when I can, at the beginning of the year I could only swim 100 meters now 1mile is part of training. This will be the hardest event I have ever done to date..... But I couldn't do it for a better cause or in memory of the most amazing mum and best friend in the world that I lost last year. Mum and I discussed me doing this event even though she knew she wouldn't be here to see me do it, so it's closer to my heart than ever.
The Ashford Pilgrims Hospice took care of mum soon after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, without them I don't know how we would have coped, mums last few days were spent at the hospice they made her comfortable and safe, all the staff looked after mum as if she was there own mother and looked after our family when they could see we needed a shoulder. I will never be able to say thank you to them enough. So on June the 1st I will give something back by raising some money for a well deserved charity please give a little every penny will help.
It's going to be a tough day physically and mentally
Thanks for looking
