Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in sponsoring us for the Race for Life yesterday.  Over 5000 women took part in the event, which was both inspiring and life affirming.  Course conditions prevented us from threatening the times of the Kenyan distance runners!  However, the main reason was to raise money for Cancer Research UK so we achieved that goal, thanks to you all.

On Sunday 20 June, my niece, Rosie, and I will be taking part in the Race for Life at Trent Park in Enfield.  We will be joining my very special friend, Des Violaris and “E Korouthes” (the girls in Greek), to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The Race for Life is a 5k run (although run is a loose term to include speed walking, jogging, ambling, strolling!).  Whichever way we do it we are aiming to raise funds to support the life-saving work of Cancer Research UK.
