In November 2014 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, as you can imagine this was a Huge shock, however the breast cancer unit at Salisbury hospital were fantastic and made the news a lot easier to deal with explaining the process I was about to go through more bearable.

In December I underwent a double mastectomy and now I am going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy straight after that. Now  people who know me know that I'm not going to take this lying down, this is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do, everyday is a struggle, but I always know that if I ever need to talk to anyone all I need to do is pick up the phone, along with my friends and family the nurses at Salisbury have been brilliant.

So lets get down to business I figure that you are my friend on Facebook for some reason or another my guess is that we have had a drink together at some point, so I'm now asking you to sponsor me just the price of a pint, lets have just one more drink!!

I know you may think 10km isn't a great distance and your right but some days getting out of bed seems like a marathon.
