In February I shall be running the Chichester 10k to raise money for the MS Society. The MS society is the UK's largest charity supporting MS and not only funds independant research into treatments for the disease but offers much practical help as well. Services such as a free-phone MS helpline, grants towards disability equipments, 1:1 support and counselling and they're personalised information packages help people get on with their lives following a diagnosis and throughout the rest of their lives. The average age of diagnosis with MS is 34 and so incorporating help into day to day life in this way is essential and hence why I have chosen this charity.
